Tracy A. Rhymes was born in Far Rockaway Queens, New York. She joined the United States Army after graduating from High School. After separating from the military, she began working for the Federal Government and has continued since. Tracy is also the Administrative Assistant to Rev. Dr. Raymont Anderson.

Tracy has an Associate of Applied Science in Business Management and a Certificate as a Personal Computer Specialist. She is currently enrolled in the Ordination Program at the Center For Living the Sacred, Phoenix Institute, Bowie, MD and is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

One morning, Spirit placed on Tracy’s heart the desire to communicate with the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing. From that, Tracy began taking American Sign Language (ASL) classes. Due to Tracy’s passion for music, she began expressing it through sign language while signing songs during church services. Tracy later started a Deaf Ministry at the church she was attending. While there, she worked with the various choirs, liturgical dance ministries, the children’s ministry, and other ministries teaching ASL. Tracy’s desire is to please God.

Tracy first saw B.E.L.I.E.V.E. perform at a Deaf Praise and Worship Gospel concert in 2006 and thought they stood out amongst the other groups. She later had the opportunity to meet the President and Vice President of B.E.L.I.E.V.E. (Ray & Sylvia), and the two invited her to a rehearsal; and from that moment on she was hooked and knew she wanted to join the group. Tracy never thought she would ever have the opportunity to meet the members of B.E.L.I.E.V.E.; not to mention become a member of the group. Being a member of B.E.L.I.E.V.E. is Tracy’s opportunity to be involved in the Deaf community and expand her knowledge and relationships with Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people.
